HIJAMA THERAPY
Hijama also known as wet cupping therapy, is a traditional healing method that involves creating small incisions on the skin and then applying cups to draw out blood and toxins. It's a form of cupping therapy, and while some believe it can help with various ailments, evidence supporting its efficacy is limited, particularly for conditions beyond pain management.
Hijama therapy involves creating a vacuum on specific points of the kin using 9-11 plastic cups on either side of the spine, neck and shoulder blades. Cuts are made to the skin under the cups, and the cups are suctioned to create a vacuum. The vacuum pulls out the blood and other fluids from the skin, which removes toxins and promotes healing.
